A Blustery Day!

Well, welcome to the first of our Evanji Blogs! I was sitting here wondering what our friends and Clients may like to read about and lots of everyday stuff was going through my head!

I had chance to have a half hour walk today in the very blustery weather which blew away quite a few cobwebs! I was walking to the only Client I visit at home ( well she is over 90 years in age). I don't often get 'brain space' without technology and people around!

I started off thinking how  unlucky I was to be walking in the rain and wind as my car had 'died' on my way back from Nottingham yesterday. It went from 50mph to virtually a stand still within 30 seconds. I then started to think that actually I was very lucky that it didn't happen in the outside lane of a motorway or somewhere else more dangerous....and that I had the RAC to rescue me!

I thought how lucky I was to have a mobile phone to call for help...and that where I had stopped there was signal!

My thoughts then moved to how lucky I am to have a car and I started to think of all the people at this time of year who walk everywhere in the blustery or blistering weather.

At Evanji we are helping others who who need to learn skills to help and support their families, enabling them to have the 'stuff' we take for granted. Have a peek at our chosen charity, Hope and Homes for Children. They are doing great stuff and based in the UK. Hope and Homes for Children

I am grateful for my wheels..... :)
